I think this was a pretty disappointing performance for Myles Jury. The first round was close but I think Jury won it with the throw at thee end of the round. The second round definitely went to Iaquinta. The problem Jury had was that he was constantly being pushed back against the cage, he had no control. For the first two minutes or so of the third round Iaquinta had Jury backed up against the cage again. Jury was eventually able to get himself to the center of the Octagon but the problem was he didn’t do anything. After having your back up against the cage for half the round you would think he might of realized he was losing that round and that he needed to be aggressive and finish the fight, but he didn’t and Team Faber gets there first win.
I am absolutely stoked for this fight! I think Dos Santos has better boxing but Overeem has great kickboxing and is an amazing striker. I think this fight will show who is the best heavyweight as well as who is the best striker in the heavyweight division.

I haven’t posted anything in the past couple of days due to me being busy. There have been a few really good fights made in that time. Cain Velasquez will fight Frank Mir at UFC 146 for the number 1 contender position. Rich Franklin is dropping back down to Middleweight to fight Cung Le at UFC 148. Also at UFC 148 will be Tim Boetsch vs Michael Bisping. And finally, Clay Guida will face off against Gray Maynard to headline UFC on FX 4.

For those of you who don’t know Johnson defeated McCall with a decision. However, something went wrong with the judging, there were some mix ups and the fight was supposed to be a tie. The fight should have gone to a 4th round and the winner of that round would win the fight. Now they will rematch in April.
